The most fundamental expectation of hijab-wearing clients from a beauty centre is that no man — whether staff or guest — should be present from the moment they remove their headscarf until they leave the salon. Yet the vast majority of beauty centres in Turkey that operate under the name of a ladies-only or hijab-friendly salon use either an unscreened section or simply a corner of the main salon floor. This does not constitute genuine privacy. At TEO Beauty Centre, the ladies-only salon is a dedicated area located within a separate section of our Mall of İstanbul studio, accessible only to female staff and secured by a controlled-access door and exit system.

This private section is fully equipped with hair-washing units, cutting chairs, a colour waiting area, a skin-care room, a waxing room and a massage room. A hijab-wearing guest can therefore receive all her treatments without leaving the salon. Thanks to our policy of accepting only one client at a time, you receive your services entirely alone, in complete peace and absolute privacy. For this reason we operate on a strictly appointment-only basis and have a limited number of slots per day.

Our staff training is also built around this sensitivity. Every stylist, skin specialist and technician working in the ladies-only salon has in-depth knowledge of headscarf-tying techniques, hijab compatibility following hair extensions, how permanent make-up will appear within a hijab frame, and the particular requests of hijab-wearing clients. In this way the service becomes not merely something "carried out by women" but something that "understands the lives of hijab-wearing women".
