Our specialists begin every brow appointment with a 'read'. Your facial symmetry, the distance between your eyes, the height of your forehead, the projection of your cheekbones — all of these determine where the brow should begin, where it should arch, and where it should end. Using PhiBrows' world-renowned golden ratio ruler, we measure three key points on your face and present the ideal brow shape to you visually. Not a single hair is removed until you have given your approval.

We use brow lamination to straighten and define low or unruly brows, and apply tone with henna or botanical colour. The three key points of your brow
Every brow is defined by three points: the start, the peak, and the tail. These three points are calculated to the millimetre against your facial symmetry using the golden ratio ruler.
Start Point
Located on the vertical line passing directly above the nostril.
Arch Peak
Where the line drawn from the nose tip to the outer iris of the eye intersects the brow.
Tail Point
Where the line drawn from the nose tip to the outer corner of the eye intersects the brow.
Colour Harmony
One to two shades lighter than your hair colour; soft brown for red hair.
Thickness Balance
Proportionate to face size — finer on a smaller face, fuller on a broader one.
Symmetry Tolerance
Brows are sisters, not twins. A natural variation of 5–8% is perfectly healthy.
Practices for healthy brows
Do This
- Have a professional shaping done every 3–4 weeks.
- Nourish your brows with castor oil twice a week.
- Brush your brows with a spoolie every morning.
- Use a brow serum for growth stimulation support.
Avoid This
- Do not attempt to wax your own brows at home.
- Do not overuse permanent colour, as it will weaken the brow hair.
- Do not force out hairs that resist tweezing.
- Do not go to sleep without removing heavy make-up.
