When applied correctly, hair extensions do more than simply add length; they camouflage coloured, damaged or sparse sections and lend a new confidence to your beauty. However, extensions applied with the wrong technique and poor-quality hair can lead to breakage, tangled cuticles and permanent hair loss within as little as two to three months. That is why, at TEO Beauty Centre, every stage of the extension process — from hair selection through to the aftercare guide — is governed by a strict protocol.

A hair-health consultation is always carried out before any extension appointment. We assess whether your roots are dense enough to support extensions, whether any condition such as eczema or psoriasis is present on your scalp, any medications you are taking, and any chemical treatments undergone in the past six months. Based on this assessment, the most suitable extension method (micro-tape, keratin capsule, micro-ring or mesh) and the required amount of hair are determined. An average natural-looking lengthening requires 80–150 grams of Remy hair.

Every strand of hair we use falls into the Remy category — meaning the cuticles run in the same direction. This is the critical quality that allows the hair to be combed without tangling, prevents matting and ensures the hair takes colour uniformly. The low-grade hair commonly marketed as "Remy" but actually stripped in an acid bath is never used in our salon. We work with world-leading brands such as Great Lengths and Hairdreams; every pack of hair arrives with a certificate and barcode.
