Men's Facial at TEO
Post-shave comfort, clear pores and balanced hydration

Men's Facial
at TEO

A men's facial is a treatment in which daily shaving, environmental exposure and a generally oilier skin type are assessed together. At TEO Beauty Centre we look at your skin type, the appearance of your pores, any history of post-shave irritation and your current routine, and plan the cleansing, hydration and soothing steps from there. The aim is not short-lived glow, but skin that stays more balanced and comfortable through the day.

Benefits

Why Men's Facial?

Deep Cleansing

Oil and impurities in the pores are removed by methods that don't stress the skin.

Post-Shave Comfort

Steps are included to reduce the redness and tightness that follow daily shaving.

Balanced Hydration

Even oily skin needs moisture; it is supported with products that don't sit heavily.

A Sustainable Routine

Daily care is recommended as a simple plan of no more than two or three steps.

Shaving and the Skin

Most complaints about men's skin come from the shaving routine, not a lack of care

A large share of men's skin complaints are connected to daily shaving. Shaving against the grain, a blunt blade, high-alcohol aftershaves and skipping the moisturising step can all cause redness, ingrown hairs and a feeling of tightness. So the treatment starts by talking through your shaving habits, not by scrubbing the skin.

Before the treatment we assess skin type, pore appearance, how quickly you get oily and any history of irritation. Cleansing is planned at one strength for oily skin and quite another for dry or sensitive skin. Men's skin is generally thicker and produces more sebum, which makes the cleansing step important — but never so strong that it dries the skin out.

During the treatment, oil and impurities are cleared from the pores and the skin is then soothed. Where there is a tendency to ingrown hairs, a gentler approach is used. The treatment finishes with a light moisturising step: the idea that oily skin doesn't need moisture is a common misconception.

The routine you keep at home is deliberately simple. A cleanser twice a day, a soothing product after shaving and sunscreen in the morning is enough for most people. Complicated product sequences don't work, because nobody follows them. A salon treatment every four weeks supports that routine.

"The biggest difference in men's skincare comes from fixing the shaving routine, not from adding more products."

Care Guide

What to consider before and after a men's facial

What Helps

  • Tell your therapist how often you shave and which products you use.
  • Shave with warm water, a sharp blade and with the grain.
  • Choose an alcohol-free, soothing product after shaving.
  • Add sunscreen to your morning routine.
  • See a dermatologist for persistent acne, eczema or irritation that won't heal.

What to Avoid

  • Don't apply high-alcohol lotion after shaving.
  • Don't scrub your skin daily with harsh, grainy products.
  • Don't make a habit of shaving with a blunt blade or against the grain.
  • Don't squeeze spots — it raises the risk of scarring and infection.
  • Don't have a cosmetic treatment while there are active inflamed lesions.
