Men's Hair Treatment
at TEO
A men's hair treatment is not simply a wash and blow-dry; it is a process in which the condition of the scalp and the structure of the hair are assessed together. At TEO Beauty Centre we look at how quickly you get oily, whether you flake, how dry the hair is and how fine it is — and plan the cleansing, hydration and strengthening steps from that. The goal isn't short-lived shine, but a balanced scalp and hair that holds up better.
Why Men's Hair Treatment?
A Balanced Scalp
Cleansing strength is chosen with the balance between oiliness and dryness in mind.
Hydration for Your Hair Type
Moisture support is matched to how fine your hair is, so it never weighs it down.
Breakage Assessment
Split ends and damaged areas are reviewed, and cutting and treatment are planned together.
A Sustainable Routine
Wash frequency and product choice are recommended to fit your daily life.
In men's hair care, the result starts at the scalp, not the strand
Most hair complaints in men originate at the scalp rather than in the hair itself. Rapid oiliness, flaking, itching and hair sticking flat at the roots are all linked to wash frequency, unsuitable products or a build-up of residue. So the treatment starts by reading the condition of the scalp, not by repairing the strand.
Before the treatment we assess how quickly you get oily, the type of flaking, any sensitivity and the products you already use. The same plan does not work for someone washing daily and someone washing twice a week. Cleansing strength, massage time and the treatment product are all chosen from that assessment.
In the treatment itself, residue and excess oil are removed at the roots first, then a scalp massage supports circulation. On the strand, moisture or protein support is chosen according to how fine the hair is — a softening product for coarse hair, a light one that won't flatten fine hair.
How long the effect lasts depends on the routine you keep at home. We go through wash frequency, water temperature, how much product to use and how long to rinse. If you use styling products, a periodic deep clean may be recommended to prevent build-up. Planned alongside a cut, removing damaged ends makes the treatment last longer.
"The fastest improvement in hair care comes not from the right product, but from the right washing habit."

Finish and Plan
Hair is dried, and we share advice on wash frequency and a home routine.

What to consider before and after a men's hair treatment
What Helps
- Tell your stylist how often you wash and which products you use.
- Wash with lukewarm water — very hot water can dry the scalp.
- Use shampoo at the roots and conditioner through the ends.
- If you use styling products, cleanse your hair at the end of the day.
- See a dermatologist if itching, widespread flaking or shedding increases.
What to Avoid
- Don't use a harsh clarifying shampoo every single day.
- Don't brush wet hair with a stiff brush.
- Don't work conditioner heavily into the roots.
- Don't hold a very hot dryer on the same area for long.
- Don't use an anti-dandruff shampoo more often than the label advises.
