Diode Laser Hair Removal
Diode laser is a safe and comfortable technology that targets the melanin in the hair follicle. The system we use at TEO Beauty Centre is equipped with cooling technology so discomfort is minimised. After 8-10 sessions you can expect over 90% lasting hair reduction.
Waxing Options
For guests who prefer not to use laser or want a temporary solution, we offer Italian wax and sugar wax. Sugar wax in particular is a natural-ingredient alternative ideal for sensitive skin.
The science of permanent hair removal — and the TEO difference
Diode laser is a selective photothermal technology operating at an 808 nm wavelength that targets the melanin in the hair follicle. When light energy reaches the follicle, it converts to heat and permanently deactivates the cells responsible for hair growth. While this may sound straightforward, a successful session depends as much on the operator's ability to read your skin and select the right parameters as it does on the quality of the device itself.
At TEO Güzellik Merkezi, every diode laser treatment begins with a Fitzpatrick skin type analysis. Your skin's melanin density, hair colour and thickness, recent sun exposure, and even your hormonal status all influence the session parameters. This is why we always perform a test patch at your first session — we never begin treating a full area without first seeing how your skin responds.
Being realistic about results is also part of our commitment. Permanent hair removal does not happen in one session; it delivers over 90% permanent reduction after 8 to 10 sessions. This is because hair exists in three different growth phases, and the laser targets only those hairs in the anagen (active growth) phase. We therefore plan session intervals of 4 to 8 weeks depending on the area, ensuring we capture the hairs that are in the anagen phase at each visit.

What to do and what to avoid
Do This
- Shave the area with a razor 24 hours before your session.
- Apply a cold compress to the area after your session.
- Use SPF 50 sun protection for 48 hours after treatment.
- Drink plenty of water — it accelerates the skin's recovery.
Avoid This
- Do not wax, use depilatory cream, or tweeze in the 15 days before your session.
- Avoid sunbeds and sun exposure for 48 hours before and after your session.
- Do not apply perfume, deodorant, or cologne to the treated area on the day of your session.
- Avoid hot showers, hammam, and sauna for the first 24 hours.
