Keratin Treatment: New Life for Damaged Hair
How keratin treatments are applied, how long they last and how they differ from Brazilian blowout — all the answers.
Keratin is the structural protein that makes up 90% of the hair strand. Depleted by colour, heat and chemicals, keratin loss is the biggest issue for damaged hair. Keratin treatment restores this protein back into the strand.
How It's Applied
The hair is first cleansed with a clarifying shampoo, then the keratin serum is applied strand-by-strand and sealed with heat or a flat iron.
Results and Longevity
Hair softens, shines and stops static instantly. Longevity is 3-5 months depending on product and hair type.
Difference From Brazilian Blowout
A Brazilian blowout is primarily about smoothing; keratin treatment is about repair. At TEO we use formaldehyde-free premium products.
Who Is It For?
Suitable for coloured, lightened, brittle and static hair. For curly-hair guests we use curl-preserving formulas.
