Despite the name, hair botox contains no botulinum toxin. It is an intensive repair serum with collagen, elastin, keratin and hyaluronic acid.
Difference From Keratin
Keratin smooths; botox does not smooth — it adds volume while repairing. For curly hair, botox is more suitable.
The Process
After a clarifying shampoo, the botox serum is applied strand-by-strand and sealed with a heat cabin or flat iron. Total 90-120 minutes.
Longevity
Lasts 3-4 months. Sulphate-free shampoo extends life.
